This week I’ve had 3 phone calls from farmers looking for help. They have missed opportunities with their marketing that they are only just becoming aware of after talking to friends or neighbours.

When I was a kid, dad used to work on the farm all day, then come home and make phone calls to organize transporters and contractors in the evening.

Information travels so quick now. But that means that decisions need to be made quickly.

An opportunity might present itself now, but be gone in an hours’ time, just after you’ve finished drenching those lambs.

Take precautions to reduce missed opportunities, yet you don’t need to be ‘on-call’ 24hrs a day.

Have a great day, and an even better harvest!
